Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SkyLike, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use the service. Your continued use of SkyLike after any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
2. Description of Service
SkyLike enables micro-donations through social likes. When a donor likes a post on a supported platform, a configurable amount is deducted from their balance and allocated to the creator of that post. SkyLike acts as an intermediary to facilitate these transactions and does not itself create or curate content. Supported platforms include AT Protocol (Bluesky), ActivityPub (Mastodon), and Nostr.
3. User Accounts
SkyLike authenticates users through their existing social account via supported open protocols (AT Protocol, ActivityPub, or Nostr). You do not create a separate account with SkyLike — your social handle serves as your identity. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your social account and for all activity that occurs under your identity on SkyLike.
4. Donations and Payments
Donors set a price per like and a monthly spending limit. When you like a post while SkyLike is active, a donation is allocated to the creator at your configured per-like amount. Donors are charged monthly for their accumulated donations. All payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
5. Fees
Creators pay a 7% SkyLike fee plus Stripe payment processing fees, deducted from each payout. Donors pay exactly what they give — no additional fees. All fees are shown upfront before you start using the service. We may update our fee structure with reasonable notice.
6. Creator Payouts
Creator payouts are processed monthly on the 1st of each month for the previous month's accumulated earnings. There is no minimum payout threshold — all earned amounts are disbursed regardless of size.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
If you unlike a post within 24 hours of liking it, the associated micro-donation will be reversed and the amount returned to your balance. Likes that remain active but whose associated donations have not been claimed by a registered creator will be refunded to your balance after 4 weeks. Once a payout has been processed to a creator, the associated donations are final and cannot be reversed.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using SkyLike, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
The SkyLike name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of SkyLike. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent. Content posted on supported social platforms remains the property of its respective creators — SkyLike does not claim any ownership over user-generated content.
10. Limitation of Liability
SkyLike is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall SkyLike be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of SkyLike after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
